Our students confidently concurred Salt Run last Saturday. Despite increasing wind from the South, we paddled for an hour and acclimated to the conditions. While sting rays cruised by and fish jumped high, we focused on our SUP posture, keeping arms and back straight to add power to each stroke. With a little bend in the hips and knees to lower our center of gravity, everyone began to look like pros! As soon as we turned around to come back, it seemed like we were coasting downwind at around 5-6 knots. Then, we used our paddles to catch the wind and went even faster. As you can see in the pictures, everyone had a great time.
